My altar, which is still a work in progress, is small but perfect for my uses. Sometimes one must be humble. In any case, my Isis figurine came earlier than I anticipated. Not that I am complaining! I think it is gorgeous. And the gold altar fabric came from Walmart at a good price. I am happy with it. This photo doesn’t really do my statue and altar cloth justice. I would like to get an Egyptian incense burner and some better offering dishes but this will have to do for now. I have been doing devotionals at my altar, its so much simpler than the ADF devotionals. I have also decided my Egyptian name shall be Nathifa, which means pure. Better than the masculine Ra-Nefer-U. I still have to do a naming ritual, which I will research shortly.
Unfortunately, my natron is still not finished. I put too much water in it. So I put it back by the heater in hopes that it will help the process go a little faster. I need to cleanse my Isis pendant because that’s what Isis communicated to me. I also made the mistake of making the batch too large. I won’t make the mistake again. But hey, you make mistakes when you learn new things. That is how we grow.
