Welcoming Spring

It is 7 degrees out at the moment, but here I am redecorating my blog for Spring. We will have a few more nights in zero and below, and one digit days, but after that our climate should be starting to warm up. I can already sense the trees yawning to life, though for them the yawn might last a week or longer.

In one of my Druidry books, the author writes that each day we should go for a walk in nature, no matter what the weather is like. She mentions a lot of rain. Well, she is British and the book was written to address the UK climate…not Upstate New York with our frigid snowy winters. It was – 16 degrees this morning. I’m sorry, but I’m not going outside when its that cold if I can help it. But when it does warm up a little, I will return to my daily walking habits.

I am definitely looking forward to my Equinox ritual! I know it will be wonderful. We should include some dancing. even if its just to hold each others hands and skip in a circle. Faeries love to dance, after all.

I know this is a controversial topic, but I truly do believe I am a Fae spirit living in a Human body. You have every right to call me crazy, because it does seem farfetched. However, I have my reasons, and it is something that I have discussed with the Nature Spirits and they are in agreement with me. Why else would they promise that I could return to the Summerland after I am finished with this life? Ok. You can still call me crazy, but this is me not giving a damn. I could believe in worse thing, even harmful things.

Anyway, I hope my readers enjoy my new Spring layout. We are all noticing the changes, especially the sun returning. We have had more sun the past two days then we’ve had since, what, December? It’s been a long cold lonely winter. But here comes the Sun….It’s alright. 🙂
